Artwork acquired at the Subirachs exhibition at La Tralla, Vic, 1980. The Mona Lisa by Josep Maria Subirachs (note: it's the one in the cube), lithograph signed in pencil, number 22 of 50. Unframed. Subirachs has a long international career and is represented in numerous museums, including the Espai Subirachs museum in Barcelona. One of his most famous Artworks is the sculptures on the façade of the Sagrada Familia, photographed thousands of times. Josep Maria Subirachs i Sitjar (Barcelona, March 11, 1927 – Barcelona, April 7, 2014) was a Spanish sculptor, painter, engraver, set designer, and art critic. He was one of the most internationally renowned contemporary Spanish sculptors, as evidenced by his numerous awards and accolades, as well as the presence of his Artwork in many museums and public spaces in cities around the world, particularly Barcelona. He also participated in a large number of group and solo exhibitions in museums and public and private galleries.
