It is part of a folder of 24 reproductions in different weights of artists from his art collection, in 1995, which was offered to subscribers, and celebrated his own collection (see last photos, from the folder, not included), and the first edition digital (1994-1995) of a Spanish newspaper that offered the contents in full.     Author: Rafael Griera y Calderón (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 1934). Title: Untitled (1998). Description: oil on canvas framed. Certificate of authenticity is attached. Measures without frame 46x38 cm. Artwork in good condition. The son of an image carver who had his Artworkshop in Olot, he trained at the School of Fine Arts in this city and attended the Cràter d'art group. He lived in Olot from 1942 to 1960, and then spent almost his entire career in Barcelona. He exhibited for the first time, essentially landscapes, in 1953; then contact in Palma de Mallorca (1956), where he was doing military service, with Anglada Camarasa and other painters, made him drift for a while towards informalist painting. When he returned to figuration, he had completely broken with the Olotin tradition and since then his painting, which flees from luminosity, seems to have the Nordic schools as its model. He has also done commercial illustrations.

Josep Grau-Garriga (Sant Cugat, 1929 – Saint Mathurin Sur Loire -France-, 2011) studied at the “Llotja” School of Arts and Crafts and at the Barcelona School of Fine Arts. A painter by training, he Artworked in the field of mural painting and stained glass and came into contact with the world of tapestry, starting with the old Casa Aymat factory in Sant Cugat. It was he who introduced the renewal of tapestry art at the level of the entire Spanish state and he did it from this manufacture and from the artistic section that he directed from 1957 to 1970. The Catalan School of Tapestry was created there and the renewal would come from there. and the new concepts of art in this discipline.
