PLAYA DEL REGATON It begins at Puntal de Playa de la Salvé and runs along the bed of the Ría de Treto for 2900 m, until it ends in the municipality of Colindres, next to the Regatón stream. The dune system was described, before urban expansion, as one of the most important on the Atlantic coast. About Playa de Regatón Archived on July 12, 2013 in Playa del Regatón is located in the western area of Laredo. This beach is where you can best enjoy the sunsets. There are few beaches in Cantabria with this orientation, which makes it a privileged place to enjoy spectacular sunsets when the sun sets. Visiting this beach is highly advisable if you are looking for tranquility and do not mind doing without the sea waters. Since this beach is part of the mouth of the Asón River and the water comes from this river, although at high tide the sea water merges with the waters that come down from the top of the Asón Valley.
