Autor: Romà Vallès Simplicio (Barcelona, 1923-2015). Título: Entre segles 1 (2004). Descripción: acrílico sobre lienzo. Se adjunta certificado de autenticidad. Medidas sin marco 50x50 cm. Obra en buenas condiciones. Romà Vallès es un referente del Informalismo catalán. Cursó sus estudios en la Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes Sant Jordi de Barcelona. A partir de una etapa inicial figurativa, su obra evoluciona sin fracturas hacia la abstracción. Habiendo absorbido fenómenos generales como el Pop-art, el informalismo, la abstracción matérica, el arte conceptual y otras tendencias de las últimas décadas, su pintura nunca ha perdido la cualidad gestual del trazo, el lirismo del color, el refinamiento de las texturas y el equilibrio-tensión de los contrarios. En 1959, junto a A.Cirici Pellicer y Antoni Cumella fundan la Escuela de Arte del FAD de Barcelona y en la Fundación Antigua Caixa de Terrassa se encuentra el Espacio Romà Vallès, dedicado a su obra. Realizó numerosas exposiciones por todo el mundo, recibió muchos premios y su obra forma parte de diferentes colecciones públicas y privadas.

Having absorbed general phenomena such as Pop-art, informalism, material abstraction, conceptual art and other trends of recent decades, his painting has never lost the gestural quality of the line, the lyricism of color, the refinement of textures and the balance-tension of opposites. In 1959, together with A.Cirici Pellicer and Antoni Cumella, they founded the FAD School of Art in Barcelona and the Espacio Romà Vallès, dedicated to his Artwork, is located in the Antigua Caixa Foundation in Terrassa. He held numerous exhibitions around the world, received many awards and his Artwork is part of different public and private collections.
