CARLES DELCLAUX, L'amor del Minotaure - 2015 - Painting on paper - 28 x 20 cm. - Very good condition Carles Delclaux Is (Sant Cugat del Vallès, 1951) is a textile artist trained at the Aymat factory in Sant Cugat and at the Massana School in Barcelona. From 1970 to 1974 he directed the Catalan School of Tapestry[4] which in 1975 moved to Girona, where he created a chair based on academicism and apprenticeship in the trade of tapestry. His textile Artwork is very outstanding and makes the upholstery evolve to a renaissance in the third millennium. It is also worth highlighting his facet as a draftsman and painter. His Artwork is in museums such as MACBA, CDAN, and the Sant Cugat Contemporary Tapestry Museum. CDMT, among others, as well as in private collections and public institutions.
