Carles Briega Bombón studied at the Massana School, at the Barcelona School of Arts and Crafts "Llotja", the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona and at the Sant Lluc Artistic Circle in Barcelona. At this time he created Artworks that are lyrical evocations of eroded, lichen- and moss-covered surfaces with dramatic visions. Starting from informalism, he delves into forceful abstractions, which in the 1990s gave way to subtle figurations. Artworks full of lyricism that without ceasing to print his personal brand, he seeks innovation and investigates new expressions. He has also dedicated himself to pedagogy at the Rubí Municipal School of Art.
