Manuel Viola (name he adopted after the end of the Spanish Civil War), was a Spanish poet and painter of abstract style belonging to the El Paso group, whose career developed mainly in Aragon. His painting is characterized by an informalist and colorful treatment in line with the avant-garde movements that developed in Spain from the 1950s. In 1936 he was part of the Lógicofobista Group
