Artwork in good condition. Josep Uclés began to exhibit in 1972. Since then, his career has been constant and ascending. In his artistic career, his participation in 1978 in the famous contemporary Catalan art exhibition Seny i Rauxa, at the Pompidou Center in Paris, a city where the artist spends long periods painting, stands out. He also participated in the collective Europa '79. This exhibition was considered as the continuation of the Italian transavantgarde and German neo-expressionism. Uclés plays, ironizes and provokes with his Artwork, representing one or more characters, exponents of doubts and torments and of the various states of mind, that is, he shows his own philosophy of life. A truly fantastic world, due to the surreal touch of the staging in which these characters move, which are the center of all the symbolic elements that the artist includes in each of his Artworks. Uclés' Artwork can be found in private and public, national and international collections, such as the MACBA in Barcelona or the Kiron space in Paris. He has exhibited all over the world, earning critical and public recognition.
