Gerardo Delgado. Untitled lithograph signed, dated and numbered 101/135 (1980)
Gerardo Delgado gets along well with lines and geometric figures. Although Gerardo Delgado's initial work moved between expressionist figuration, in his latest works he has developed his own style in the "new abstraction" movement. The spaces, empty or not, and the tones chosen by the artist in his works are as important as the drawn object.

This lithographic poster for the 1976 Olympic Games held in Montreal (Canada) was created by the Italian artist Vincent Mariani, known for his geometric work and holograms. In the poster, based on bright vertical stripes, the blue and pink tones stand out.
Ángel Asensio Figols. Mixed media and collage on canvas. Signed and dated (2008)
Ángel Asensio is considered an urban painter who believes, as Salvador Dalí would say, that surrealism goes beyond painting; it is a way of life. Perhaps that is why he feels comfortable in the realism of urban themes, where he pays attention to even the smallest details.

Although when Amèlia Riera began to paint, informal abstraction was in vogue, she opted for surrealism with a touch of Pop Art. Her work is characterized by bluish and blackish tones that she combines with symmetrical perspectives that lack characters. This emptiness in the darkness gives her work a touch of mystery with hints of terror.

PR-Monsar is a French artist who uses different techniques and themes in each of his works. This experimentation allows him to express himself naturally, spontaneously, perhaps the freest way to draw lines and make brushstrokes. Light and well-balanced works of abstract and contemporary calligraphy.
Piero Dorazio. "Munich Olympic Games 1972". Lithograph signed and dated 169/200 (1970)
Color, wide lines of brilliant color, and abstraction along with grids are the emblem of the Italian painter Piero Dorazio. His creed was that abstract art could change the world. Perhaps his revolutionary soul and progressive thinking betrayed him every time he painted the sickle in his early cubist works, but Piero Dorazio became an abstract expressionist. In his words: "For me, color is an instrument, not a means of expression; I am not color and I do not personify it as Pollock does".
Joaquin Amayar. "Twin I". Mixed media on canvas, signed (2011)
Joaquin Amayar says that he imbues his paintings with his own personality, whose traits he defines as: colorful, geometric, and meditative. Contemporary art is his life, and he does not hide that the flamenco of his homeland and the theater are present in his work, albeit in an abstract way.
Artur Heras. "Composition". Lithograph signed and numbered 6/350
Artur Heras discovered figuration in the early sixties. His work unfolds with brushstrokes of satire and denunciation, between the depth and brilliant tones of Pop Art. Self-taught in the evolutions of modern art, his career has moved towards dramatic hyperrealism, without forgetting social criticism. In the exhibition “Trade mark registered-Pintat i expandit” he wanted to go beyond the surface of his canvases and used collage without leaving the universe of contemporary art.

José Carlos Balanza is one of the most outstanding artists from La Rioja. His forceful work hides a recurring theme in the artist concerned with time. The different materials and techniques used by Balanza serve as tools to challenge the viewer to find answers to questions about the perception of life.

Adela is a self-taught artist who has created works in both painting and sculpture, with a long history of exhibitions on both sides of the pond. She is a well-deserved part of the group of contemporary art artists. In her work "Project 33" there is something that draws us to look through the hole, and we cross our fingers to find much more art.
