Author: Armand Lluent (Barcelona 1943-2004). Title: Maternitat Description: Oil on canvas made in 1976 by the artist Armand Lluent. Measures without frame 63x79 cm. Certificate of authenticity is attached. Artwork in good condition. Armand Lluent was a student of Garcia Morales at the Llotja School in Barcelona and also of Jaume Muxart at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona, he held his first individual exhibition in this Catalan capital. He exhibits his Artwork throughout the country and also in France, Italy, Germany and Sweden. All his Artwork focuses on the theme of the eternal search of the human being, of his own place in the Universe, although he experiences a long formal evolution, starting from an initial expressionist stage, which reflects his admiration for Oskar Kokoschka and James ensor. After traveling to India in 1982, his conception of human existence is accentuated, and a progressive dissolution of the human body begins. In 1985 he made a mural for the Sants Station. In recent times, he basically paints in oil on a kind of stucco prepared on wood, with his own technique and between 2000 and 2003 he paints the altarpieces of the hermitage of San Roque in Blancas (Teruel). He also develops an interesting job as an engraver, investigating material techniques and their combination with traditional drypoint engraving, and exhibits at the SAGA engraving fair in Paris.
Author: Josep Uclés (Badalona, 1952-La Roca del Vallès, 2013). Title: Fora llençol (1990). Description: Oil on canvas. Certificate of authenticity is attached. Measures 50x65 cm. Artwork in good condition. Josep Uclés began to exhibit in 1972. Since then, his career has been constant and ascending. In his artistic career, his participation in 1978 in the famous contemporary Catalan art exhibition Seny i Rauxa, at the Pompidou Center in Paris, a city where the artist spends long periods painting, stands out. He also participated in the collective Europa '79. This exhibition was considered as the continuation of the Italian transavantgarde and German neo-expressionism. Uclés plays, ironizes and provokes with his Artwork, representing one or more characters, exponents of doubts and torments and of the various states of mind, that is, he shows his own philosophy of life. A truly fantastic world, due to the surreal touch of the staging in which these characters move, which are the center of all the symbolic elements that the artist includes in each of his Artworks. Uclés' Artwork can be found in private and public, national and international collections, such as the MACBA in Barcelona or the Kiron space in Paris. He has exhibited all over the world, earning critical and public recognition.
Author: Daniel Argimon (Barcelona, 1929–1996). Title: Untitled (1991). Description: Mixed media on canvas. Certificate of authenticity is attached. Measurements without frame 55x46 cm. Artwork in good condition. Considered one of the most important artists of Catalan Informalist painting. His beginnings date back to 1952, when he began Artworking as an engraver and printmaker in his grandfather's Artworkshop, which allowed him to familiarize himself with the techniques of an artistic profession that he would always hold in high esteem. In 1965 he went to Paris to perfect his Artwork with lithography, receiving a scholarship from the French Institute of Barcelona. He graduated from the "Llotja" in Barcelona and Artworks as a professor of lithography at the Conservatory of Book Arts. He was also a drawing teacher at the French Lyceum. In 1983 he graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona. From primary expressionism, he increasingly adopts an informal language, initiating a process of assessing the material that leads him to an expressionist informalism. His Artworks are found in various museums and collections in Europe and America.
